Mastitis is an inflammation of the breast that can be caused by a blocked duct or bacteria.

Treatment:
At Empower Her Physiotherapy we provide Ultrasound therapy to assist in the management and treatment of blocked ducts or mastitis. It is a non-invasive, comfortable therapy that assists in increasing blood flow to the area as well as using ultrasound waves to penetrate deep enough to break down the lumps. We can also provide education around massage, stretching and feeding.
